Believe it or not, this song was written in early 2015, the lyrics driven by that nasty little taste you get in your throat right when you see that first political ad of the season. Now mind you, W!T is not a political group, ok? We’re not going to tell you to take one side or the other, to stand for this or for that, or point fingers at who is right and who is wrong. There’s plenty of that out there already, right? Instead, when it comes to politics, we think there are two very important factors to consider. And this song focuses on one of those factors: Educate yourselves!

We see the talking heads telling us how bad the other guy is. They toss around statistics designed to make a point clear, but they are truly only meant to make us confused. They push hot buttons and play on the emotions that erupt. They make promises they don’t keep, won’t keep . . . until they finally implode on themselves. But we can wade through all of that if we keep our eyes on the light, not the show. Because if we don’t, the darkness they use to try to scare us only grows deeper and deeper . . .
